These are on a Pageant, they replaced similar crockery slots to those shown on your centaur
The base for the upper drawer was in the right place, and I added runners for the lower one

I had a problem with my Beta that sounds similar to your mate's. It mystified the engineer who supplied my engine when new and he contacted Beta. They suggested he check a spring that the fuel control stops against when you throttle right back...
Engine laid up for 18 months, I've been recommended (by Beta) to squirt Shell Ensis oil into the bores.

Yes, large spanner with two lugs to locate in holes. But reached the point where force was beginning to distort the holes

I need to replace the glass in a Westerly circular portlight. It looks as though the insert should unscrew (see pic).
I've tried plus gas and a reasonable amount of force with a homemade tool, but I guess it's not been undone in its forty years.
Any suggestions?
