Hi, yes I do have a Stowe masthead unit in working order, although there has been damage to the cable. A new cable is needed which can be achieved easily & inexpensively. Any use to you?
Hi, not a repeater but I have a Phillips Mk 8 GPS in good order, which "should" be able to serve as a repeater if you have the knowledge to introduce the two. Any good to you?
Hi Rosie, I have a slab of virgin iroko, 1500x215x90, not exactly your requirement but easily engineered to be so.
Located in the Hamble area, i.e. twixt Portsmouth & Southampton. £55 (less than I paid for it - not good business).
In a sparsely frequented pub, over a one hour wait for the first course of our meal, at one & three quarters of an hour & with no sighting of our sweets, we departed speaking to the "manager" who could not even raise an apology but suggested that it was up to the customer to go & find serving...
Much talk on the pontoons by visitors complaining vehemently about the poor quality of the food plus off-hand service.
This formerly very popular pub lost it's 'key' manager a couple of years ago but has also had a recent management change - apparently not for the better.
Replaced my MD2B with a 25 Beta (Kubota). Two short lengths of old angle iron were perfect to convert the mounts to fit these used by the Volvo. No need for Beta to supply anything else. 1200+ hours later I am still delighted with the swap.
Good boat, as & when you finish her. I have sailed one to Ireland & Hebrides with no problems whatsoever.
My experience is that; the sloop rig performs better than the ketch rig, is cheaper & benefits from simplicity.
Good luck & don't give up.
Agree, have nothing whatsoever against my Clipper instruments BUT the masthead units are dire & must be costing NASA countless sales. Surely with the number of instrument manufacturers who are no longer with us but who built fine and long lasting masthead units, there must be lots of tooling...
Hi neilshiv, thanks for your response,BUT, the system cannot let me read your message, not helpful.
