It's not overly critical as I generally give a wide margin of error with a draft of 1.4m. However, I was suprised to see 300mm difference on heights.

Think your'll find Series II/III Landies and some early Disco's were rated to tow 4000kg. I can't recomend the Series for that kind of weight when fitted all round with drums as it used to get a bit precarious !!
Jap stuff has never been good for towing.
Also check your insurance. Quite often, the value of what ever is on the trailer and the trailer itself, aren't covered on the average policy. Usually, a quick call to your broker is all that's required to arrnage it and give them a max. value of what is being trailored.
