James, We have a 50 foot Sealine on Windermere and , even for day boating , 10 would be crowded. Regarding skiing, I am sure you know but it is hard work skiing at 10 knots and the wardens are getting more rigorous at enforcing this now.It is a great safe environment for the kids to learn...
