Sorry to disagree with Little Sister, but both Trudesign and Leeson specify either Sikaflex or Loctite on the threads between the thruhulls and the ball valve. As another poster has written , they are parallel threads and if you don’t have some form of sealant, then you are going to get leaks...

That’s fine and thanks for the link, but I have 3 off 4.5 Calor Gas bottles ( my gas locker takes 2 + 1 spare at home ), so I would have to fork out 2 * £38.50 to change to FloGas plus the cost of another regulator / adaptor. Are Calor planning to discontinue the 4.5 kg size bottle ?
