Hi all, recently received a suzuki DT4 2 stroke as a tender engine. I am running it at 50:1. It starts and idles fine but bogs down when underload, she also runs with quite a lot of smoke.

Thanks for all the help. This was the state of the filler cap seal on the effected tank. Feel stupid I didn't realise this could have been the problem in the beginning! Fingers crossed that's it all sorted now.

Tanks were removed cut open in three places cleaned and welded up again.
So I just need to remove the old pre filter housing and connect the racor filters to the existing pipe work. Any idea where I can get new fittings to fit the racor to the existing pipework?

Yes, i saw the thread on the slipping prop. When I increase revs on it and leave the other engine I do get a speed increase. Would this happen if the prop was slipping?

Well sorry the 3900 was achieved when the bad engine was pushing maybe 3300. Since then it's max has dropped to around 2600-2800. It may achieve 3000 for a really short time and then the revs come back.
So I've just realised the noise in the video of the supercharger engaging and disengaging is actually my friend on the throttle. It's the actual supercharger noise I'm refering to. Does it sound normal when the supercharger is running?
Okay, I've just changed all the belts and to my knowledge they are all tensioned correctly but will check all of them and tensioners. Would this noise not be heard all the time. Would this explain a lack of performance. Last time the engine ran under load I could only achieve 2600rpm.
