    Some years ago we stayed for a few months at the boatyard above the rising bridge on the left. Was fine. Be aware the canal sometimes floods in winter but the guys will look after your boat. Think it was called Nautica Girosel or something. Last boatyard on the left.

    I suspect for Suffolktim no price is cheap enough since he hasn't paid me for the Stowe parts I sent him after twice advising me he is doing a bank transfer and then nothing. He has now disappeared off the radar be warned!

    We were moored next to a Polish boat in Big Vathi a few weeks back. It had been confined to port for alleged illegal chartering. The PP also checked all the charter boats on either side of us for safety equipment not us presumably because we were Brit flagged private boat.
