    Hi Peter thanks for your input,just a thought though if the oil seals, there are two on the 120s prop shaft fail will Volvo pay for any damage seeing as you have the warranty. The oil seals can be changed without moving the engine by the way. Cheers John L. <hr width=100% size=1>

    I believe the USA and AUS governments dont force new builds to fit DSC perhaps the public wont stand for it. I also notice that some state governments actively encourage boaters to inform CG/Volentary coast watch, of passage plans in AUS. on vhf. <hr width=100% size=1>

    Hurth Gearbox Problem

    I had the same problem, eventualy I found there was wear on the cam which selects forward or reverse inside the gearbox.I built up the cam and it worked ok afterwards. <hr width=100% size=1>

    Kubota z900 engine

    As Phil says try Beta they sold me some of the parts heatexchanger etc.to fit a z400 twin cylinder, they were helpfull but not cheap so its a case of doing your costing first. I was very happy with the results, hope this helps. <hr width=100% size=1>
