Hi Mike I am not against new technolagy even though I cant spell it but, this system you have come up with does not seem to be an improvement to a lot of people. The trouble is a lot of people have spent an large amount of money on DSC sets, for very little return that its now impossible for you...

Hi Peter thanks for your input,just a thought though if the oil seals, there are two on the 120s prop shaft fail will Volvo pay for any damage seeing as you have the warranty. The oil seals can be changed without moving the engine by the way. Cheers John L. <hr width=100% size=1>

Hi Steve yes thats more or less what I decided to do, new Volvo moded flexi coupling and speedy sleeve on the prop shaft. Etch primer then epoxy paint job on the leg,second hand saildrive may be picking up some more problems so I will keep an eye on the splines if they get worse I will...

I had the same problem, eventualy I found there was wear on the cam which selects forward or reverse inside the gearbox.I built up the cam and it worked ok afterwards. <hr width=100% size=1>

If the Coastguard is not listening on ch16 whats the point of doing a normal voice mayday after pressing the red button and filling in the form on a DSC set. <hr width=100% size=1>

As Phil says try Beta they sold me some of the parts heatexchanger etc.to fit a z400 twin cylinder, they were helpfull but not cheap so its a case of doing your costing first. I was very happy with the results, hope this helps. <hr width=100% size=1>
