    Also worth running on paraffin for several hours each year. It burns hotter and cleans the combustion chamber. I’ve done this once a year for over 10 years now.

    Thinking about next year, if I were to sail from Denmark to Scotland (moray firth area) am I best coming out the Elbe or Skaggerat? Aware wind direction is the major factor especially with the prevailing SW .. would probably be doing this late June, early July. Thoughts?

    Which discs for Angle Grinder to clean prop

    I'm reluctant to use hydrochloric acid on my prop as its a Bruntons Variprop and packed with grease. My understanding is that the acid can breakdown the grease. I'd rather use the cleaning pads as above as they cleaned quickly and effectively without damage when I used it last year.
