I have had a similar problem with an older Yanmar 2gm20 which was caused by the 40 amp fuse in the circuit to the starter motor solenoid, The fuse holder is a really cheap design and the contacts just need cleaning every now and again.

Another vote for the Cob I have been using one on the yacht for two years. Good for fry up's , currys. chicken in white wine source etc. Do the cooking in the cockpit rather than being trapped down below. Only problem does not come with a holder for your wine.

Thanks for the warning but our yacht is on the ssr register and is UK flagged. Not had a problem so far but have been checked by the Italian and Croatia marine services. No problems but I double check all paper work and am always polite to the authorities. !!

Thanks Baggywrinkle I have filled in both forms and received a paper to show on my "windscreen". The form does allow me to select "own vessel" so there is some hope. May have to sail to UMAG to try entry and if refused sail back. Bit of a pain but worth a try.

My yacht is based in Italy and I had hoped to sail to Croatia as usual in September. Does anybody know if there are any restrictions for UK person to sail from Italy to Croatia and where one would search for data on this topic.

After reading the above posts I am still unclear as to how the "rolling" 90 in 180 days works. If i Travel to (say) Italy for April to June (90days ). When is the first date I can return ?. If I travel to France for one day in January does that start the rolling 180 days ? and thus another...

16ft Sports boat for 34 years. Trying to get rid of it for almost nothing without success. Yacht for 19 years so far and will sail her until I can't do it anymore !!

Can anybody clarify the 90 days in any 180 days, eg. if I travel to my yacht on April 1st and stay for 90 days must I wait until October before I can return ? Or could I spend one day in (say) France the 1st of March then 89 days from 1st April ending at the end of June and then return 1st of...

Can't really help wrt the fuel tank but I replaced the 2 front yanmar 2GM20 engine mounts with R&D mounts. These were a direct replacement and the mounting holes to the engine bearers are an exact match. The R&D mount has a much thicker base so you may lead slightly longer mounting bolts. I used...

Had the same problem and replaced the broken off parts by using "rubber" from a O Ring. No problem now with the port lights staying open at the various settings - cost a few pence, expected to last for years !
