Fingers crossed for somebody to make something of it.
The restaurant part had gone upmarket from what was there previously and getting a little bit pricy, maybe all to do with covid.
I hate throwing things away, so if anybody wants a battery damaged Garmin GPS76 CSX ( obviously not working) with I think 1 or 2 charts that may be useful as spares to somebody, here it is FOC
Not seen any comments for a bit, I really enjoy watching their videos and admire the skill and determination they both show. Now they have a second 'channel' with the GRP motor boat, even better.
Thanks very much for that, did this trip in late August and was late on the tide and finished up going aground. Entirely my own fault as we have done this trip a number of times over the years, so we spent the night (a Saturday) on Maplin sands which was very nice indeed. I did note that we were...
My wife has a theory that they do this on purpose to cheese us all off, until there is no point manning it, and or when it's damaged inoperable they don't have to man it.

I have one of the above which needs the heat exchanger descaling, which I tried to do but made it worse. I know Paloma Bob offers an exchange (innards) at £150 + £15 postage. I am wondering what alternatives you guys have found as price wise it would be worth considering something new. Hamilton...
Never experienced a Victron , but have bought a Sterling 20A, 30A, and 40A over the years all have proved capable and the last 2 mentioned had 3 outputs, so you can put Sterling on your list.
