That’s a real shame I was only chatting to him last year when on the EA moorings opposite the racecourse…..said he used to go all over the place in his boat then it slowly dwindled down to out for a trundle but no locks and wash boat when out,….another knowledgeable chap gone.:(
I seem to recall the larger twin engine ones could do high teens speed wise but I would imagine fuel consumption would be a tad high !
Major worry with that boat should be 30 year old teak decks on steel plus as Greg says the paint systems back then aren’t as good as these days.

That boat has been there all winter as well as a few wide beams plus assorted other small craft.
Its quite shallow that end so it’s probably on the bottom…..there was a small rib with the Searay but that disappeared early on.
