She looks absolutely stunning; beautiful both technically and esthetically. With more displacement speeds in mind, did you also consider going for a model from the SD range? A lower max speed but larger fuel tanks/range. Not sure if that model would be more efficient than the SL96 at 10-14 knots.

May be it is the length of that short discharge tube that is different for the Nano vs the other models. I guess the flush water volume can be set to the same value for the different models. Is the duckbill valve only to prevent siphoning or also odours?

Strange indeed. The Planus Match is a bit bigger than the Tecma Nano.

That is good to know. I was looking at a Nimbus recently where most have either manual of electric Jabsco’s. Replacing with a Tecma Nano may not be worth it then. Does anyone know if the small Planus (Match) is any better?

fair point. The boat may also be packed with extras. The prices quoted by Aquaholic for the larger boats seem to inflate very rapidly. Princess Y80 for 8.3 million USD……San Lorenzo SX76 for 4.9 million EUR in another aquaholic video sounds comparatively good value.

Very interesting thread. I watched the video following your comments and indeed engine room of Sq42 looks tight. The Fairline Phantom 40 has lifting sections in the saloon floor but not sure if that one has more space overall. Same for Princess 42. Anyone any ideas about engine access of Phantom...
