I wouldn't worry. At the low speed of cranking, the valve timing is not optimum. The inlet will open slightly before TDC on the exhaust stroke and allow a small amount of exhaust gas still in the cylinder to escape. Sometimes referred to as valve overlap.
Those 3 figures are closely similar, but assuming they are psi, overall they seem low to me. I'd expect considerably higher, 250+?, for a diesel engine of around 20:1 compression ratio.
Either the cranking is very slow or the piston / valve sealing is poor. Either would make for poor starting.
That doesn't sound very likely to me. The lift pump either works adequately or it doesn't. More likely to show up on heavy load I'd have thought. If you wish, you can eliminate it from the list of suspects by arranging a temporary gravity feed fuel tank and trying the starting procedure with that.
That's the observed effect but what's happening is that failure of the thermistor turns the display from "master" to "repeater" which needs speed info. on Seatalk. from another instrument.
I had a 2GM that chewed through belts. The reason turned out to be that the flanks of one of the vee-pulleys were quite rough with corrosion This was not obvious unless closely inspected. Cleaning with emery cloth cured the problem. IIRC it was the crankshaft pulley, but it was some time ago.
As said above, the Raymarine ST60 transducer, (eggshaped) will drive the ST50 display but, from distant memory, I think that the windspeed readout will be too fast, and a factor of 0.7 is involved. I can't remember if the ST50 display can apply that correction. The info. might be on the...
Ok, I was describing a model of Wallas heater that I had in my boat, seems yours has a different arrangement. If I needed spares I bought from Kuranda in the UK, they supplied good quality stuff.
The heater shown is a Wallas; seen as high quality, but no guarantee that the installation was good of course. I can't work out how the exhaust is routed. The Wallas system is to have the exhaust pipe internally co-axial with the combustion air inlet pipe. The two connect at a special external...
You say the table is in the cabin, but you seem to show the cockpit floor. It will have been fitted by a previous owner. You presumably have a separate fuel tank? If I have interpreted the pictures correctly I suggest that you pemanently seal off the inspection port in the cockpit sole to...
