So my bad, but while putting the main sail away for the winter one of my mainsail battens went to the bottom of the river... My google-fu seems to be failing me but I can't find 40mm * 4mm * 2m battens online for delivery anywhere... Any suggestions. I'm based on the River Crouch in Essex.

I'd be happy to help out. Bought a westerly griffon about 4 years ago, did loads of work on it, then the kids grew and we just upgraded to a Gibsea 33.

We have a Wooden washboard, that splits in 2, and a clear perspex one the same size as the top half of the washboard. So 3 half height washboards, gives us a nice combination. So it means we can have the wooden ones in at night, and the plastic top half if we want extra light.
