Yup, just join them. Could be an easy fix. Mine stopped working with immediate effect, no symptoms beforehand.
Have you tried starting with throttle wide open?
You can just remove the kill switch from the equation by bypassing it. I had one go bad last year and bridged the wires to and from it to verify. Easy check to rule it out. Can't speak for the coil.

I have a Corniche and the factory drops are 22x26 3 blade on my build sheet if I remeber correctly. There is a group of owners over on FB. Someone replaced props recently and could advise on taper etc.

If you need to scrape flakey bits use this type of scraper. Expensive but way superior to the cheap ones. Also useful in many other scraping applications.
