My problem has been solved I was advised to reset the type of display that the 600XX was to be used with. ie. 10XX 20XX or RL9. This was carried out with complete success. Information was in handbook but as I was unaware of its existance. Unit had lost its setting for some reason.

Hi I have a Raychart 600XX which has a fault i.e the display is garbled and shows a display in which the information is barely distinguishable. Can you please let me know what your fault is or was. Thanks for your help Bryan

Now the EU have graciously allowed us to keep our pounds and ounces, perhaps if we fight for some thirty years as with the weights and measures, they will allow us to keep our red diesel prices.

The lifeline to the plight of escalating red diesel is surely the statement made by MBM as follows :- "We will be arguing very strongly that marine users should be paying the European minimum (around 20p per litre) rather than the current roadside diesel duty, which is 48.35p per litre...
