New 3way raw water intake valves for my Ferretti

Here is an update on the progress on this matter. I contacted Ferretti customer service and they answered promptly with a friendly reply that new valves for my boat can be obtained from Ferretti with a few weeks delivery delay only. The only issue was that these are very expensive so I decided...

New 3way raw water intake valves for my Ferretti

Was wondering the same however the scupper tube that goes through the bottom measures 3,5 in. On the inside end of the valve the diameter is reduced to fit clearly smaller hoses. I guess Ferretti streamlined their inventory and used the same valves from the bigger boats in their smaller ones...

New 3way raw water intake valves for my Ferretti

Tx guys, now I know much more about valves :) . I downloaded the RB catalogue (almost 500 pages) containing info on a very large amount of different valves with detailed specs. Gives me confidence that the right valve will be found and that Ferretti selected a quality supplier for this...

New 3way raw water intake valves for my Ferretti

They are bronze. I can move them but it requires very heavy force. We have tried various things including applying wd40 lubrication but no improvement unfortunately. Apparently they are quite stiff from the beginning as Ferretti has provided a steel bar that fits the handles to get extra...

New 3way raw water intake valves for my Ferretti

I need to replace the raw water intake valves on my Ferretti 480 year model 2001. These are of 3 way type that allows for emergency bilage emptying. They have seized and cannot be moved anymore. Summer Cruise Highlights 2021

Super nice video again. One good thing with the long winter break is that the first cruise every spring feels like when the boat was new. We have in other words more than 2 happy days as boat owners… :-)

    Sea Ray 370 DA

Okay I recon that this boat type is not very common here however I got info reg wood in the hull. It seems that this era of Sea Rays had balsa core and there are problems reported which can be very costly to repair. Balsa is very strong, in fact stronger than many non organic core materials...

    Sea Ray 370 DA

A friend of mine is interested in a Sea Ray 370 Sundancer from 1997 with CAT C7 engines from 2010. The boat looks clean and has a nice lay out however I recall that Sea Ray hade issues with balsa core used below the waterline. In boats from this era. Any precise info on which Sea Ray models had...

    Hydraulic engine controls

A friend of mine has a Ferretti 150 with MTU engines from about 1995. He has run into some issue with the hydraulic engine controls on board. They stay sluggish despite several bleeding attepts and he suspects a leak somewhere. Now unfortunately the users manual describing this system is lost...
