sleipner side power problem

the side power in my boat is made bij a sleipner motor as SE 40/125S with a panel model 8960G

the problem is:
normally this will be in working mode for about 6 minutes.
now it only works for 6 seconds and then it automatically turns off.
untill now it seems this is caused by a thermal switch.
we cannot find the problem
does has somebody the answer ?

Sounds like it could be a battery problem, does the thruster have its own dedicated battery, is it charged?

Most likely to be the switch, useless things, unfortunately when using them on production boats (about 20 per year) the failure rate was very high and was always changing them, some the customer insisted I fitted just the joystick and done away with the electronics part of it, easily done and never a problem again.
