A YouTube video shot very recently by a group from France.
Might interest anybody who has done the trip from the Thames to Merdeway or perhaps even going over to parts foreign.
A good look round the forts and featuring some very good quality war time cine footage .
Think some were built on the Thames at Gravesend .
The boat they used (Xpilot) frequently took out film crews and private parties to visit the forts. ***
Footage of the pirate radio crews was the most interesting.

*** pre C19.

......and the something else.
First time have ever seen one of those "Targa" Police boats most usually found moored at Cherry Tree Pier actually out in the scary bits beyond Greenwich. :)

Does look quite interesting.

Once all this virus business is over I am very much hoping to have a trip to the Medway now I have finally got a suitable boat for it.

Boat is based on non tidal Thames but it's very much a seagoing vessel.

I always fancied having a look at the Medway, so keeping fingers crossed that we get through the current restrictions and into recovery territory in a month or so.

That would be good. Obviously.
