I own a Merry Fisher 605 + Mercury 115 XS PRO CT, very heavy (approx. 2200 kg (engine, gasoline, people, equipment, water...). Which propeller do you recommend? Thank you in advance for your reply.

What prop do you have now ? What rpm and gps are you seeing ? I replied to your other post there. I’ve recorded lots of data from my 115 ct. great engines. Seriously more powerful than the numbers on the badge. That pro xs you have are widely regarded to have between 130-140hp in reality. I run a 19 or a 20” on mine. 43-45 mph gps consistently achieved. so far, I have used the classic Mercury Marine 115 engine (Four stroke), with a 1:2.07 gear box and a prop. “Black Max D=13.75 / P=15''”. Maximum speed 26 kt at 5900 rpm. The boat barely came on plane.
Cruise 21-22 kt at approx. 5000 rpm. Cruise 21-22 kt at approx. 5000 rpm.

Hi. Your gear ratio should be 2.38-1. If it’s the 2.1 litre CT engine you have.

Hi , im new to forum. Im using merry fisher 605 with yamaha f130 , propeller yamaha talon d-13.5 p-14 when 3 or more on board with full tank etc. and 13.5 p16 when only 1 or 2.

Have you tried checking the difference using a GPS/Plotter ?
