Hello,
I am strongly considering upgrading my bravo 2 to a bravo 3 duo prop on my Bayliner 2859 as it struggles to keep get out of the hole and stay on the plane with 2 adults and 2 kids people at the back unless it is at full revs which isn't ideal.
I believe these are a bolt in upgrade but I want to choose the correct gear ration. I believe it should be 2.0 or 2.2 .
Does anyone have a similar combination on a similar boat weight, roughly 7700lbs/3500kg with a planning hull, who could tell of their performance/cruising speed?
Would love to hear some of your thoughts/experiences.
Thanks a mil
