This gaiter does not provide a watertight seal (In fact the rubber gaiter has a hole in it). It is purely to fair the gap between the saildrive leg and the hole in the hull.
It's the other seal above this gaiter that definitely needs to be waterproof! (which does not use adhesive at all).
And, just to clarify, it also went on to say " As can be imagined this has raised a storm of protest locally and it may very well be changed (or ignored ?)"
Nikos was recommended to me by two others. Had a very positive experience. Seago 4 person valise done in 2009. Was encouraged to be there and watch when it was unpacked and repacked. All looked very carefully done. Done on time over a weekend as agreed. Cost approx €190.
ICC
In the past five years I have been asked for an ICC on several occasions in Spain, Italy, Greece and Croatia.
I have no idea whether it is really mandatory, or not.... and I really don't care. Compared with the other costs of sailings, the cost of an ICC is really a drop in the bucket...

Yes, go into Google Earth, click on Tools/Options. Half way down there is a section entitled "Show Lat/Long" where you will have the option of selecting 4 different Lat/Long formats.

Bit more expensive, but simple to fit/wire. I connected mine across the power to the tacho light...so it records hours the ignition is on rather than...
