SIKA FLEX 291 or CT1 urgent

Vyv This gaiter does not provide a watertight seal (In fact the rubber gaiter has a hole in it). It is purely to fair the gap between the saildrive leg and the hole in the hull. It's the other seal above this gaiter that definitely needs to be waterproof! (which does not use adhesive at all).

ICC In the past five years I have been asked for an ICC on several occasions in Spain, Italy, Greece and Croatia. I have no idea whether it is really mandatory, or not.... and I really don't care. Compared with the other costs of sailings, the cost of an ICC is really a drop in the bucket...

    Volvo Penta Hour Meter Replacement

An alternative is to ignore the hours meter on the tacho and use one of these....... http://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/hours-run-meters/1884398/ Bit more expensive, but simple to fit/wire. I connected mine across the power to the tacho light...so it records hours the ignition is on rather than...

Can highly recommend......... http://ionian-marine-safety.com/tag/liferaft/ The owner speaks reasonably good English. Lodestar NSA260 Inflatable

Currently in Croatia so you cannot see it....but we have had a Lodestar NSA260 since 2005. At that time it came out as "best of the rest" (after Avon) in the comparison tests in Sailing Today and YM. It spends a lot of time in the Med being either towed or on the foredeck. We have a Mariner...
