I'd like to buy a small inflatable for occassional tender duty next year. There will be no crane or passarelle fitted to my Princess 42 and it will only be required for during longer cruises. With this in mind it has been suggested to me that I ought to keep a compact inflatable stored deflated and a small outboard mounted on a bracket inside the lazarette. It will carry two fairly large adults and occassionally 2 children.
A dealer has suggested a Zodiac Cadet Fastroller Activ V 285 with Mercury 5HP outboard which weighs just 31KG + 20KG = 51KG.
Does anyone have this combination, or something very similar? If so I'd welcome your comments regarding useability, storage, inflation time and whether it could be mounted on the bathing platform.
