Oh look, PBO don't seem to have released the digital magazine on time again. I suggest if you're thinking of going digital you don't bother!!

I've emailed PBO asking for comment, and emailed Zinio telling them I'll be cancelling my subs if it happens again.

The other complaint is how the magazines advertise it at a 'bargain' price and then without notice VAT is added at the end of the ordering process making it only slightly cheaper than the paper version.

That depends where you buy it. Via iPad the price is as advertised. Through the website of Zinio and YBW it's a bit more.

Dear David,

Thank you for contacting Zinio Customer Support.

The June 2012 issue has been released on May 2nd, while July 2012 issue is due on June 6th. Should you have any problem with a currently available issue, please provide us with your Zinio username (associated e-mail address) in order to rapidly resolve it for you.

As you pointed out, Zinio produces, sells, and delivers magazines on behalf of each publisher. Variables such as subscription price, regional limitations, printing allowances, and release dates for the digital version are decided by the publisher.

At Zinio we are dedicating to continually improving our products and services. Much of this is done as a result of consumer feedback by patrons like yourself.

Many thanks for your valuable feedback, which has been sent to our development teams.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience, and if I can be of further assistance, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Andres Garcia

It would appear the good people of PBO have sorted everything. PBO July is now out AND works on the iPhone!
Thanks guys :)

Why on earth would you want to even try to read a magazine on the tiny screen of a phone? Do you go in for sex standing up in a hammock? :D

Because we are not all multi millionaires with huge boats to store the magazines for future reference. Plus, here in gib, I'm looking at £6-£7 for the magazine.

Also, when using a phone you have this option to zoom in, it makes the words bigger and easy to read, good eh?!
