ZINCSMART STILL AROUND?

Hi

Anyone know if Zincsmart are still around?

I wanted to order some new anodes (11 to each engine) for my Cat 3126's, they supplied some for me last time that I fitted a couple of years ago with steel studs that worked well. I have emailed and called but no response.

I wrote on a similar thread a few days ago that the owner is quite ill and I think therefore unlikely to be trading for an unknown length of time. Another cheap source is Anode Outlet, also in Kent, but their website is temporarily down following the takeover by Pirates Cave. However, if you email Pirates Cave with what you want, if you ask they can supply at Anode Outlet prices rather than Pirates Cave prices that are generally higher.

Shame: I believe it was John at ZS, he did a modified plug with male steel post and a tapped pencil anode, instead of the female steel plug and threaded end of zinc anode, which often breaks off.

Zincsmart now seems to be up and running again according to the website, with a revamped website under construction.

Noted thanks - I just replaced anodes to both engines a few weeks ago, but prefer the ones ZS made with steel studs instead of zinc threads that can easily break - I will ping them an email...!
