zig zag wood binders

I am looking for those things you can use to bind two pieces of wood together: they do not have to give a particularly strong bond: they look like zig zag pieces of metal you hammer across a flat joint. The sort of things that are used for picture frame mitre joints. Does anyone have a clue as to what they are called?

They are called corrugated fasteners. But in our highly technical joinery shop, we always called them Wiggly nails.
