Zhik sailing clothing ?

I usually buy Musto sailing jackets.

But shop assistant today was promoting their Zhik products - apparently an Australian sailing clothing company which she said is really good.

Does anyone have experience ? I think they do their own version of Gore tex.

Nearly bought a Zhik wetsuit once - was very well made. No idea about their non-wet gear, but at least they'll be well made too, so if you like the design and features, go for it. Personally I'm very pleased with my Hudson Wight HW1 salopette and jacket from two years ago.

Don't ever buy new, current-range, oilies. They're just overpriced brand-conscious purchases. Instead, buy last year's, heavily-discounted oilies which are just as good and about half the price.
