Ive just re-engined my boat and would like to zero the engines hours clock/meter. Before I pull out the instrument panel to see what's at the back, does anyone know if it's possible?
The clock is a Jaeger.

EDIT, with mine to stop confusion.

there are two types available, one has the extra pin making 4. You should have, +12v, -ve, +12v feed (from key switch to start counting) and the extra pin, to zero. if no extra pin, then I don't think you can do it. If you have an extra pin do insulate it if it is not already, I knocked 140hrs to zero on mine with a slip of a screwdriver, most upsetting!

hope this helps.

Thanks all. Looks like I need to open the system and look at the at the set up and probably get at new clock. Afterwards, open up the old one and discover that I could have changed it!!!
