Youth week completed in difficult conditions!

Great Youth Week at Brightlingsea Sailing Club, thanks to all the DI's for helping. We had more then 20 children on the course and all did so well in difficult conditions. We lost today due to the high winds but spent the morning going over rules, knots and the 5 Essentials. I now have a weeks holiday..........sailing!

Sailing kids often amaze me.
My two grand daughters are doing Stone Cadet Week and I spent a couple of hours yesterday watching them and the other loonies sailing in the cold grey windy Blackwater.
Most of them had big grins and came ashore knackered and full of themselves.
Sitting in the clubhouse drinking tea was as close as I wanted to get!
