I got my license, sorry - registration demand this morning. Half price for owning up to having a tender. Good deal for me as I'd have to swim out to my boat if I didn't, so it'll save me thirty quid this year.

It's what we have been after for years, IF it is a tender it shouldn't carry the full charge for a standalone craft.

It shouldn't count as an additional licensed craft though.

Well, its about to be Christmas, if I licenced the boat now the only happy folk would be the EA. They can wait until January as explaining to three children and a SWMBO that they can stare at a bit of paper with a big "10" on it as a present would probably cause unrest. Interestingly the EA seem uninterested in the fact that I need a new BSC as well.

They will when you send in the form without it, I did that last year and had to get it done very quickly to get it in in time to get the Direct Debit over 6 months.

Last paragraph at foot of form - you should include new BSS certificate if issued during last year.
