Nothing unusual about that one - CG need to check that their transmitters are working correctly, and can be heard doing so regularly.

Heard on Ch16 during a CG exercise in the Irish Sea some years back.

A female operative unable to contact her base ' This is Cg mobile, I am unable to receive you in this position'

Unknown voice 'What position would you like then?'

Long pause in radio communications.........
