you know that life jacket and kill switch

Agreed, but what the video proves is that a helmsman should know - and not exceed - both his own and the boat's limits, to start with.

:)

I didn't think he was a total idiot, crazy maybe and it would appear that his friends weren't idiots either as they posted the video to warn others nutters or ppl like us that may not wear a jacket or kill switch.

I thought the boat was totally over powered mind you, only about 10% was in the water and also too flat to take even the slightest wave. At 70 mph or so it created so much lift it just took of with no ailerons or elevators. (just like 'Bluebird' really) :(

that you should wear, well have a look at this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UEETjztLqI
It's amazing how one persons stupidity leads others to lecture the rest of us on safety ...

Quite right that if you're going zipping about in a tender with a 200hp on the back that you should be using a kill chord and lifejacket - some would go further to suggest a helmet and possibly body armour ... ?

My outboard will get the boat going a 5 knots - flat out ... I don't think it's going to get airbourne and throw me out ... I'm far more likely to fall in when getting in and out of it.
