You just can\'t win !!

Last weekend around Portland a local trip boat went to help a mobo who had fouled his prop. The trip boat also fouled his prop with his own tow rope.

All resolved with the aid of the lifeboat and a helpful dive boat.

Oh good, carry on fishing now...

Return to harbour and guess what ?

Picked up a coiled up rope around my own prop half way down the harbour. It's still there now so what do you think I'm doing tomorrow ??

Well it took me two hours of tugging and teasing but that rope came off the prop as good as gold.

I now have a 5m length of yellow poly with a spliced loop at each end.

Should I put it on eBay or just use it as a free mooring line ?
