He's quite a man. They're now looking at options of getting the boat back to France. I'm half expecting Joyon to stick a jury mast on it and sail it solo.
No disrespect to Ellen Macarther, but when Joyon beat her record he really showed himself to be in a completely different league. He just cruised around, no fuss, no drama and wiped two weeks off the record. All the way up to Cape Horn he was keeping pace with Orange 2's record as well, and that was done with a crew of 10.
