In one place.
There are some new ones in there. The first one is brilliant and the one at 4minutes 10 seconds is scary.
When will boat lifters learn about securing lifting strops and when will American Sport-boaters grown up ? :D

A lot of the launching disasters with motor boats result with the boat in the water, floating upside down. And they seem very stable in this position.

Makes you wonder.

Cheers

Really scary in places. And a lot of people must have been injured (at least)
The one where the gangway fell was not much, but that happened to me when I was a child, travelling to France with my grandmother :-(

Lakesailor,

great find; I particularly liked the ( Russians ? ) unorthodox fishing method at about 08:49

The one which had me really cringeing was the chap falling out of the inflatable without a kill chord and the thing circling at high speed right by him...

Very noticeable.

One thing seems particularly significant...not many sails, on these relentlessly mis-handled boats!

There seems to be an overwhelming collective assumption that someone else will be in control, so there's no need to do anything to prevent the imminent collision/other cock-up occurring. Crowds of people just stand and watch. Not good.

I've seen dragging warps, loose liferaft-canisters, obscured nav lights, etc on ferries and fishing boats often enough; and I've told the chaps who ought to know. Most passengers seem keen to believe that however things are, that's the way they ought to be.
