Here's hoping.

I've a volvo KMD31A lump which runs as smooth as you like.
It smokes when it is cold.
I've not put any aditives in the tank for the last 18 months should I?
I added some bug cleaner to a previous boats tank which waxed up in minutes. I vowed to never do that again.

Any advice please

Absence of smoke would be worrying... You can chuck Soltron in religiously (I swear by it), or not, as you like. It kinda depends on whether you've ever suffered from bug.

Well, as you've asked...

It's supposed to kill diesel bug, but then break all the dead bodies down into little bits, so they'll go through the filters, rather than blocking 'em or forming a layer of sludge on the bottom of the tank. A bit like a compost heap, only not so smelly, I suppose.

Also, it reduces smoke, improves fuel consumption, increases power and makes you more attractive to women. At least, that's what Dom told me.

Sorry Wiggo - I have to disagree with that last bit - ever since I dosed out water tank with soltron it made me very unpopular with one women, so it can make you less attractive to women without a doubt. I accept all the rest of what you said as true.

Nope as per a previous thread I have benn on a Yacht broking course.

Well thanks guys tar me with the same brush as the ones who cant do the job.

The fact that you save VAT (and I dont charge as much commission as most) if I sell your boat must be a start for considering a listing.

Plus if you are not using your boat and dont want to pay very expensive mooring fees whilst it is waiting to be sold I can help you with that too.
