It's a great weekend.
Anyone planning on taking their boat up to Byron’s for the Forum Rally the following weekend could attend the TVR and then go on up to Byron’s on the Monday.

Any interest or queries please let me know or see the Rally web site.

Can you be more specific on the Extra Person??? Kids??

Before Darren pipes up - I know I know - but somebody has to ask!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You read my mind...just knew you were going to ask.

Not an organiser so don't know but would have thought the same as last year for kids?

You did go last year didn't you? (Can you remember that far back?)

Darren.

No, my memory is fading.......

Of course we went, I was one of the judges ....I think?

.... may even enter this year if I am drunk enough on the Saturday night.

Children under 16 are free.

We just give them away /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sorry Ian, don't care if you are giving them away, I don't want any!

And of course if you do enter, it would be for us, not that other "mob" you've started hanging about with...

Darren.

Sounds nice.

How about overnight mooring at Henley?

[/ QUOTE ]
The price includes mooring for the whole event, food and entertainment, rubbish disposal, parking for your visitors, even water availability.

Ooh....we'll be going then! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Would you be so kind as to give me the lowdown on dress etiquette (Not that I'll be wearing a dress as such you understand...)

Two Birchwoods so far....

Hope the caterers get more of that Real Ale... it was superb.

They do need to get enough for Sunday as well this time though....

Here is a picture of my daughter wearing a dress for the TVR Sunday Dinner.

Taken on the boat of course.

Oh boy did she have trouble walking along the towpath to the marquee in stilettos...

/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You should be thankful for that. The towpath near T&K is littered with ladies wearing stiletto's, and they can't half run...
Thats Reading for you.... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'll get us booked in very soon, and look forward to meeting you all.

Your daughter looked stunning last year, I think I remarked on it at the time!
The message on beer has been made, last year was your first time and I suppose we didn't expect such a perfect drinker to turn up. Since Byron stopped coming the take up on beer has declined, it's good to be getting it back to the way we were /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You should be getting your club booking form within the week - and the latest magazine.

I think our secretary forgot you existed and dropped you from the list.
Must be the fact you are so shy and quiet and keep yourself to yourself! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It is also available in PDF for download.
