Pleased to announce that St Kats are going to squeeze us in.
Thanks you very much to whoever I spoke to in the lock office earlier on today.

Around midday tomorrow,we are just packing all the wifes junk in the car, going aboard tonight for early...ish start.
Got to get off a mud berth.

It's bloody packed in here now. Can't move for boats... I think it's going to be a busy night in The Dickens.... it takes on average about 9 minutes to get served, presuming that are no more than two people wait for said service at the bar. If there's any sort of queue, you'll be quicker walking over to weatherspoons, and bring your pint back /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Half the world is in St Kats at the moment....

Had another load go down today ...

Gonna be fun at Tedders on Monday evening when they all come back .... luckily i'll have finished my shift by then /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

But please smile at the Wraysbury boys /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif skiffers...

Just got back early this morning, took 11 blimming hours to get to Rochester.
Fog in Sea reach, spent ages clinging to a bouy listening to bell going "dong dong dong" it sort of thinned around mudnight, enough to slowly crawl the rest of the way home .
It was very busy in Kats, will post a few pix later.

Departed around 3pm on Monday, bit late due to a cohort of big Brooms from Windsor Marina feeling the need to travel the scary bit back up to to Teddington en mass.

Toms rather spendid recent addition to the fleet towered above just about everything else in our bit of the dock.We were given a guided tour of the beast and very nice too.Loads of room below and more space up top than my on entire boat.
Question of the day.....how far up the Thames would it get with all that airdraft ..Windsor Bridge ?
Two big white engines lurk down below.

Pix below tells all you need to know about how busy things were on the previous Friday.

A view of the lock not normally seen with the resident heron down on left hand side.

Last time we came back down past Canvey it was blimming windy, this time it was pitch black and foggy....the joys of boating. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Just for the record, the third boat in the picture with Jeverek and Bonheur is ours, Tahoe. All three of us are from Walton Bridge Cruiser Club but I went through Teddington Lock later than the other two. I also came back a day later, just to confuse you further.

Vice Commodore, Walton Bridge Cruiser Club

Re: Mustang

Of more concern is the quantity of water coming out of the boat. The two outlets shown in the photograph seemed to be running continuously for the three days that we were there and at one point there was a third. Either they do a lot of washing or their bilge pumps are working hard.
