Seeing as there seem to be a few already I thought I jump on the bandwaggon as I can't find the answer in earlier posts!!

Whats the view on Volvo's D4 260 engine??

Not good. My 2 x D4 260hp fitted to a new cruiser last October have spent more time out of action than working. We currently have a 'houseboat' not a motor boat! This also goes for the EVC unit which gives misleading fault signals and signals when no fault actually exists. Suggest you stick to something like Yanmars with traditional controls.

As I'm hopefully going to sell the house soon, hoping to upgrade in the near future.. although think SWMBO would like a bit more practice with the little'un first!
