Managed a quick trip from Windsor to Cliveden and back in the blazing sun.

The boat in the pictures is one my daughters boyfriend picked up for £1800 at a repossession auction.

Was interviewed at Boulters Lock by BBC London (TV) for an article on how the flooding affected boaters on the Thames so watch out for that on the local London news.

Definitely is Rolf's house... Seen him there, innit? Apparently not there now (hiding somewhere awaiting outcome of you know what), although someone was in yesterday (doors and windows open..)

That other one that you say used to belong to Al F - not sure on that. It used to (maybe still does?) belong to an Irish chap with two kids and a Princess 385 called Latest Flame. We used to hang around with the kids (we were kids as well!) at Henley when he would take the Princess and we would take what we had to hand. A lot of under 21's on several very expensive boats and lots of booze....

I remember the kids and boat. Moored ahead of me on the Park at Henley one Regatta they were a splendid bunch, noisy and exuberant but very respectful. I gave one of the kids Passes for Stewards & Leander so he could take his girlfriend there. I had to have words with some bloke of around my age who was berating them for no other reason that they were young and full of fun. I suspect jealous too that these youngsters had a nice Princess at their disposal. Smashing kids and a credit to their families.

And what about the other chaps in the trawler yacht that were always with them ! In fact I think you once held onto some mooring pins we left behind once and returned them to us. You had an Ocean 37 at the time ??

Don't remember the Trawler Yacht. Yes I had an Ocean 37. Ocean Eagle, had it for about 10 or 12 years before I bought my Princess 435.

Yip that was the one. Ours was called Clipper. We used to do the regatta then head up to the islands at sonning then back down for the festival. You gave us our pins back whilst moored on the finish line.

So I guess this is a further thank you 22 years down the line !

It is rolf's house.never see him these days.
It is parky's house.quite often goes up and down the reach in his slipper launch.
There is one further down that is owned by Toby Anstis's parents(heart fm dj)
Never al fayed's house.that was the bigger black and white one,2nd pic down from the one you thought, supposedly.
The smaller!! Black and White House is now owned by Steve Harris, skipper and owner of fringilla, beautiful clay swan on the ridge line if you look closely.
The reach Known as millionaires row,is probably heading towards multi millionaire reach, don't get a lot for a mill these days:)
Had the full spiel when I took a very long time resident of maidenhead out for a trip, there are others but I've forgot:)

Hmmm...looks like a great day out Martin. I did try to wave to you as you drove/towed along the A4 at Littlewick Green on your way out, but I had a lab on a lead in each hand!
