Hi, trying to get to grips with what this set up does and doesn't do.
I have a B&G network Nav unit alongside speed, wind, tack and depth in the cockpit and data at the nav station.
if I am reading things right i should be able to get bearing to waypoint and distance to waypoint on the Nav unit but its showing OFF which i understands to mean its not getting a NMEA signal. the yeoman is giving waypoint data as i can see waypoints on the radar screen.
there is a handwritten note in the yeoman handbook section on sending waypoint data to gps (presumably made by previous owner) stating "require to do this: B&G Plus12 unit"
am i looking at a fault, or operator imcompetence or will the set up I have never do what i think it can?
I have contacted precision Nav and B&G about other questions in the past and found them very helpful - recision Nav especially, but would be interested in any of your experiences and understanding of this set up.
thanks
Dave
