Are they indicative of an empty mind ... or that you've got one foot on your boat whilst the other's still on the ex raftee?

my father-inlaw developed this syndrome once when getting into our dinghy.
toes wrapped aroung the dinghy gunnels, little ( very ) white fingers gripping the toe rail of the yacht.
toes stronger grip than fingers. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It was a book I had a long time ago. A quick Google provided
"Patrick Boyle Sailing in a Nutshell. 1958 rpt. Methuen 144pp, cartoon style illustrations, 125mm x 190mm. A jocular view of yachting from 1938."

I must have thrown it away at sometime, shame.
