Tulana will be in residence.

The weather last year was shocking for the most part. Be aware this isn't the Old Gaffers Yarmouth Festival. That has been put on hold this year returning next year as a bi-annual event. A shame as the previous couple of years had been good fun helped in no small part by decent weather.

Henry :)

Do you know...we've been regulars at Old Gaffers for over a decade and loved it, part the last couple have felt a bit big and out of control, especially in town at night. I think the break will do it good.

Note that although all the shoreside stuff isn't happening, the gaffers are going and will be racing.

We have felt a sense of getting ripped off by visiting trade exhibitors. Some of the food sold by the French market is shockingly expensive, particularly the stuff sold by weight with no advertised prices. I got fudge that tasted like candle wax from inside the craft tent, thankfully the locally made stuff sold by the main road more than made up for it !

The festival does have a distinctive atmosphere though, I can picture it in my head as I type.

Henry :)

Old Gaffers will still be in Yarmouth this year, 3rd to 5th June.
It's more about the boats and racing then all the onshore con-stands that is now biannual.
