I've just bought a waterproof USB borescope quite cheap (under £20) off Amazon (with the intention of checking out the buoyancy spaces in my Wayfarer, and a few other misc jobs).
Was idly wondering about what to do with it when finished. How about buying a spare blanking plug for my NASA paddlewheel log, drilling a hole in it, and epoxying the camera into the plug? So that when installed in the boat, I would have a lovely view of the seabed underneath me. Could be good for rock-dodging, for checking the anchor, or just for amusement purposes.
Or, of course, it could be a murky and dim waste of time.
Thoughts?
