I am considering replacing the main rubber seal on a Yanmar saildrive. Any suggestions on a good local marine engineer and cost for the job?

Where is "local"? The BC is a big place.
Also wondering why you want to change it. As I understand it, Yanmar make no recommendations on routine replacement, unlike Volvo who would like us to replace the seal every 7 years. The obvious conclusion from this is that Yanmar are better than Volvo, but I've never heard of a Volvo seal being anything other than perfect when it was taken off.
