I knew of a Yanmar Parts web site a few years back but have lost the details. This web site had exploded views of yanmar engines which was outstanding at identifying parts, does anyone know of it, is it still available?

That looks very useful. Is there an equivalent for the 3GM? If I simply knock the 2GM20 off the address it won't let me in and substituting 3GM30 is not found.

Vyv, they only seem to have parts docs. for 1GM10, 2GM20, 3GM30F, 3YM20 and 3YM30.

So it looks as if you might be in luck, try http://tehstar.ru/assets/files/manuals/3GM30F.pdf

I assume that you probably have the Operation and SErvice manuals so don't need those (pm me if that isn't the case).

Excellent, thanks. I never thought of adding the F, even though that's what I have:o. Yes thanks, I have the others.

Thanks for very usefull link. One small question - the parts catalogue for the 2GM20 refers to the YEU suffix engines, the 'european' assembled models. On reading other threads it appears that apart from the water pump the engine is identical to the 'japan' manufactured engine. Am I correct in that assumption?

That's my understanding. I bought my Yanmar in Holland, where I was told that the complete engines minus water pump are imported into Denmark. The pump is fitted there, which for tax reasons apparently means that the engine was built in EU. I have been caught out when buying a new pump face plate, it would appear that engines that are not coded YEU are also available, with a different pump.
