So, after we swopped the 1GM for a 1GM10 in the Trapper, an odd problem has turned up.
The spring loaded gizmo that is on the end of the Teleflex cable and bolts to the gear lever on the transmission has managed to unscrew itself twice.
There appears to be no way you can hold the inner threaded bit while you tighten up the lock nut.
Bit desperate today, so drilled a hole in the outer casing into the inner bit to lock it with a pin.
Any body else had a problem?
