Hello All....After purchasing a re-built Yanmar 1GM10 engine...it came with 'non-standard ' engine mounts ( circular bobbin type). After questioning this, the engine supplier agreed to send 'the correct' Yanmar type mounts.
My question is...as I understand it the '50' mount is the rear and the '75' being the front mounts...both of these being identified with a 50 and 75 stamping in the rubber respectively. Would I be correct to assume that if the ones being supplied don't have a 50/75 stamped in them they may be for the GM2 or 3...and if so..send them back?

Thank you.

The original Yanmar mounts are often replaced by others as they are very expensive and not as good quality as you would expected, many replace these for others as R&D ones that are a direct replacement at a fraction of the price. The manual I have shows 70 and 50 for the GM1 and GM3 have stiffer mounts 75 and 100 , the stiffness is what the number relates to. The 70 goes at the pulley end and the 50 at gear box end

Also the Yanmar ones are known to be quite soft and I like others uprate these to reduce some of the bouncing.
